Dr. Kimberly Rosser Carr is a native of Birmingham Alabama where she graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1991. She received her dental degree from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in 1994. After completing dental school Dr. Carr completed a residency program at the UAB School of Dentistry receiving her certification and Master’s Degree in pediatric dentistry in 1997.

Dr. Carr has practiced in the Birmingham community since 1997. In addition to her private practice Dr. Carr maintains a part time faculty position with the UAB School of Dentistry as clinical instructor at the Children’s of Alabama Hospital. She also has a a partnership with Children’s Rehabilitative Services as a dental provider.

Dr. Carr holds membership in several professional organizations including: American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Alabama Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Birmingham Pediatric Dentistry Association, Alabama State Dental Society and the National Dental Association.

Our dentist volunteers her services to help patients at Cahaba Valley Healthcare Dental Clinics, and she volunteers at various schools in the Birmingham Metro area providing dental health education.

For this reason, our office meets and surpasses all OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and CDC (Center for Disease Control) standards. We are confident that you will feel right at home in our office as we welcome all patients as if they were family.

Financial Arrangements

We will be more than happy to submit all insurance forms for you and help you recover the most from your benefits. We will do everything we can to help you afford the treatment your child needs. For patients who require major work, we partner with CareCredit to provide a complete payment plan designed with an appropriate payment schedule. Forms of payment accepted by the office are check, cash, VISA, MasterCard, DiscoverCard, and AMEX.

Changes in Appointments

If you are unable to keep the appointment reserved for your child, we ask that you kindly provide us with at least 48 hours (or 2 days) notice. We ask for this advance notice so that we can offer this appointment to another patient. A fee may be charged if a patient does not show up for an appointment without sufficient notice.
